Put together by the Delta Institute, this is an excellent report in which I became interested after attending a seminar by Paul Stamets. My interest took me on a tour of EPA sites, trying to find a nationwide database, searchable by contaminant. Although I was able to find such resources on a state-by-state basis in some cases, there was no nationwide resource. If you are aware of such a resource, please contact us.
I am interested in doing an overlay of TRI / EPA data of this nature with appropriate Fungi / living systems (a la John Todd) to provide a map of remediation opportunities. This would most likely be of interest to organizations doing cleanups and those who wish to learn more about such opportunities to undertake cleanups in their own communities. Of course, financing from industry, perhaps those responsible for such contamination could be made available, even if in the form of REIT investment.
